- One of the most indispensable tools imo ... later found material maker to be as well. Using tiled for the tilemap here on the tilemap plugin from raptor in jagstudio. We use it for the c64 game too and process the csv output through a shell script that makes it into ACME- (or in this case jagstudio-) includable data and it fits right into the chunks that get glued to the compiler.

- so far no cc0 assets as its been mostly about the mechanics and working around the tilemap plugin
- atm the music used is from the twilight scene dvd. If we keep those we'll credit the authors. Can't say if we'll go through the time and effort to write several mods for a freestyle free game , it all depends on stuff it depends on. We'll see...

the free hosting , which is affordable atm since we are poor losers now as we have no skills at all and are stuck in a hole for life, seems to have some serious cache issues so sometimes two days later it still display the wrong graphic or stylesheet ... the personal server is ofcourse a lot more enjoyable as we have full control and face it, installing a webserver with php doesnt take 30 minutes, but we dont leave it online since electricity and whatever ... if the site ever matters and we have some kind of thing that sells for actual money well make sure to fix all that (our personal server runs fine tho ... like a pro boss ...)
Education should learn from the positive side of gaming - reward, accomplishment, and fun.
