tis just like the way its designed with the little story windows and all that to us personally its one of the better c64 games, not just neo-retro but alltime ... actually SJA is quite the gamedev if you ask me
she outdoes most of protovision but i dont think shes part of it anymore its witchsoft now - even if Briley 2 felt a bit "pre"-released to make it in time for xmas theres two of the best if not only jRPGs for the c64 ... we're still awaiting meonlawel and lets hope Kouyate makes it to final stage (without being rushed hehe)

not sure if but i think its EZF format so the game requires saving to disk or else the progress wont save on a mister FPGA as the core doesnt support easyflash cartridge types (well they work for all but the flash memory which is kinda why people use EZF .. too bad and no one seems to pick it up, not even the l33t scene ... it must be
too hard for those old men in yellow pools (hurr hrurhrurhrruuuu...)
o yea the game has psw system too (its been a while i bought it on itch i think in a bundle with BWC and neutron and both zetawings at once ... (which seems awfully inspired by a game i played on the Sharp core "gemini wing" i think but you know, id be a bit of a hippiecrity talking about the game that inspired us to try this and then hack on why she took inspiration from another lol - ... look at rogue .. EVERYTHINGS rogue or soulslike (with deckbuilding elements!!!))
euhmm .... ya that was it, so you CAN play on the mister you just wont be able to use the EZF io, it will crash or do nothing depending on how or what i cant say (not a HDL freak of nature who understands all that at electronics level)

like with its own story and bosses but in general the flow would be like that one .. tall order going one of the better c64 devs but HEY, deadline dead or demented, im sure in another 40 years well code fairlight from the stage too, they should be only 110 by then ... and we a bit after SO ... lets have at it (no roadmaps no deadlines)
while parallax on the jag will definitely not be a problem (its about the easiest thing you can do on that thing) having a full tilemap in layers might be a different issue - so thats why we'll "benchmup" first ... dont wait up for it (unless elon sends us that billion ofcourse ... the usual ...)
